Jiang Ying addresses 2025 Lize Legal-Services Fum
Jiang Ying, president of the Beijing Internet Court (BIC), was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech at the 2025 Lize Legal-Services Forum, held in Beijing on Oct 31.

The forum centered on the frontier of the rule of law and explored key topics such as financial, digital and foreign-related rule of law.
In her speech at the forum, Jiang said that the BIC has remained committed to its role as a functional court, actively responding to the new demand for administering justice in the digital era.
The BIC has adjudicated a series of landmark cases, including China's first copyright infringement case involving an AI-generated image, to encourage innovation and quality improvement in emerging industries, continuously improve the business environment for the digital economy and promote the orderly development of the platform economy. The cases have filled the gap in trial rules regarding new quality productive forces, she said.

Jiang emphasized that the BIC will take jurisdiction adjustment as a new starting point to address frontier issues such as data rights, artificial intelligence and algorithm governance. It aims to produce a series of benchmark judgments to provide guidance for the healthy development of emerging industries and further support the high-quality development of the digital economy through higher-level judicial services.
