Jiang Ying awards plaque to 'three science cities and one demonstration area' e-legal education station

To mark China’s 11th National Constitution Day on Dec 4, the Beijing Cyberspace Administration held a cyberspace legal education event which included a plaque awarding ceremony for the capital's legal education stations.

Jiang Ying, president of the Beijing Internet Court (BIC), was invited to attend the event and award the plaque for the digital economy legal education stations of the capital's "three science cities and one demonstration area".

In recent years, in response to the judicial needs of the capital's digital economic development, the BIC, in collaboration with the Cyberspace Administration of Beijing Municipality, has established digital economy legal education stations in the "three science cities and one demonstration area", referring to Zhongguancun Science City, Huairou Science City, Beijing Future Science Park and the Demonstration Area for Innovation-Based Industrial Clusters.

The court also carried out two legal education sessions on digital economy at the Zhongguancun Science City and the Beijing Future Science Park in Changping district, benefiting more than 200 tech-driven companies and improving its "1+N"data rights circuit trial mechanism. The circuit trial mechanism was included among the first session of national innovative cases in social work and social governance.

The BIC intends to roll out legal education activities on digital economy on a regular basis while striving to provide a strong legal guarantee for the development of Beijing's digital economy.
