The adjudication of a case against a leading Chinese video streaming service platform demanding extra payment for "advanced screening on-demand" of the hit TV series Qing Yunian, is announced on June 2, 2020. The BIC ruled that the "advanced screening on-demand" model violated the contract and damaged the plaintiff's rights as the platform's member.
