BIC showcases China’s judicial governance to Latin American judges

The National Judges College hosted an online seminar for judges from Latin America on March 25. Judge Yan Jun from the Beijing Internet Court (BIC) was invited to the seminar to introduce the BIC's work.

An introductory video about the BIC was played at the seminar that showcased the court's innovative achievements in technology capacity, case trials and social governance. 

During the following Q&A session, Yan answered a range of questions including the BIC's scope of cases, litigation procedures, application of internet technology in judgment enforcement and the duties of AI judge.

Thirty-two judicial officials from eight Latin American countries including Nicaragua, Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Dominican Republic, Columbia, and Venezuela attended the online seminar.
