BIC establishes judge workstation at Zhongguancun Fengtai Science Park
The unveiling ceremony of a judge workstation set up by the Beijing Internet Court (BIC) at the Zhongguancun Fengtai Science and Technology Park was held on Nov 27. BIC Vice-President Zhao Ruigang and deputy head of the administrative committee of Fengtai Park Liu Jingquan jointly unveiled the new facility.
At the symposium held alongside the unveiling ceremony, Liu briefly introduced Fengtai Park, and said that the establishment of the judge workstation is conducive to clustering quality legal resources in the park and forming a comprehensive and professional legal service ecosystem that covers the whole service chain. He raised the hope that the two sides will strengthen coordinated joint governance in resource sharing, activity co-hosting, and joint building of working mechanisms, in a bid to contribute to the sustainable development of the digital economy in the park, the fostering of a business environment that is market-oriented, law-based and internationalized, and the high-quality development of Beijing.
Zhao said that establishing the judge workstation in the Fengtai Science Park is an effective measure jointly taken by the park’s administrative committee and the BIC to optimize the business environment and serve the innovative development of the digital economy. The BIC will use the station to provide strong judicial guarantees for the regulated and orderly development of enterprises based in the park with judicial services such as law popularization, legal consultation and training, and reinforce administrative and judicial coordination in sharing resources and co-building mechanisms, Zhao said. It will also deepen communication in digital technology to further stimulate the innovative development of those enterprises, and serve the high-quality development of Beijing, he added.
