Beijing Internet Court discusses IT application with Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand
She Guiqing, vice-president of the Beijing Internet Court, was recently invited to address the first video conference on application of information technology in judicial areas held by China's National Judge College and the Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand.
She introduced the court's trial modes, main problems and hearing rules, and shared its experiences in building its integrated online litigation service. He said data, technology and artificial intelligence are the core elements of the mode.
Meanwhile, he shared the court's practical experience in supporting trials with judicial technology when coping with the COVID-19 pandemic at the conference.
He also answered questions on matters of concern to judges from Thailand.
Representatives of the Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand appreciated She's remarks and said that they will absorb the successful experiences of China's courts on informatization construction in order to develop Thailand's smart judiciary.
The Beijing Internet Court will continue to innovate technological application, strengthen its leading role on judicial judgment, provide judicial guarantees for internet governance capability and contribute Chinese wisdom to building a community with a shared future in cyberspace that is inter-connected, shared and co-governed.
The video conference was aimed at implementing the agreement on judicial training cooperation reached by Zhou Qiang, president of the Supreme People's Court, and Piya Patangta, president of the Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand. Over 80 judges and experts from China and Thailand attended the meeting.
