Zhang Wen, president of Beijing Internet Court, met with a delegation led by Thomas Andrieu, director of the Office of Civil Justice of the French Ministry of Justice on May 21. 

The delegates experienced the court’s services including its self-service capacity for online lawsuits and looked into its latest achievements in building an intelligent court and the use of internet technologies in judicial trials.

Zhang answered questions from the delegates during the visit.

The two sides exchanged views on the blockchain and AI technologies used in hearing cases, the procedure of online trials and international judicial communication and cooperation.
